Specialty Timers: Multifunction, Reset and Preset Timers
Reset Timer
In many cases, a reset timer is actuated automatically, but can be manually actuated (usually by a push-button interface on the reset timer casing). Eagle-Signal offers both electronic and electric reset timer products.
An electrically started reset timer is typically applied when automatic control of process time is a necessity. In these cases, the reset timer runs through a predetermined cycle and then is either automatically reset or restarted by an outside source. Eagle-Signal also offers handset timers (a form of reset timer) which are typically ideal in cases where single cycle operation and a low-price point are required, as well as pneumatic reset timer solutions when electric power cannot be used.
Multifunction Timer
A multifunction timer is designed to be user set or programmed for a desired specific available timing mode or function. The Eagle-Signal product line includes many different multifunction timer varieties:
- The B866 multifunction timer is a compact 1/16 DIN dial set timer package. It is notable for its precise yet simple dial-set interface. The B866 multifunction timer features adjustable time ranges from 0.06 seconds to 10 hours. This multifunction timer is field-configurable to function as and on-delay, off-delay, interval, or repeat cycle timer.
Preset Timer
In addition to multifunction timer and reset timer solutions, Eagle-Signal also offers a variety of preset timer products. A preset timer is typically used in applications in which an output occurs during timing (interval type mode) or when the unit times out (on-delay type mode).
