CS1
CS1 (Cabinet) Series Surge Suppression Systems feature parallel Service Entrance connections to protect downstream electrical equipment against the harmful effects of lightning strikes, internally generated transients and high frequency noise. The CS1 Series incorporates redundant MOV fusing that prevents individual component failure from rendering the protection mode useless. Special circuitry allows any remaining protection to be measured and to automatically alarm operators if capacity drops below 50 percent.
The CS1 offers a full range of monitoring options from the most basic phase indicator lights and audible alarms to the most sophisticated power quality monitoring features offered in any SPD. The standard CS1 is available in a fiberglass-reinforced polyester NEMA 4X enclosure. Units equipped with integral disconnects are available only with metallic NEMA 4/12 enclosure. Available in 60, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250 and 300 kA, per mode surge amp capacity ratings. Units can be field tested and repaired. All CS1 units are covered with a 7-Year Warranty program and are UL 1449 3rd Edition listed.

The compact footprint CS3 Series incorporates redundant MOV fusing that prevents individual component failure from rendering the protection mode useless.
All CS3 units offered with Protection Available indicating lights, an audible alarm which can be muted and a surge counter. The CS3 is available in an all weather sealed, powder-coated NEMA 4/IP65 housing designed for any orientation and for indoor/outdoor applications. All CS3 units come standard with one set of Form “C” dry relay contacts for connection to a user-provided remote alarm and monitoring circuit. Available in 60, 80, 100, 120, 150 and 200 kA per mode surge amp capacity ratings. All CS3 units are covered with a 7-Year Warranty program and are UL 1449 3rd Edition listed.

All CS3-50 units feature a compact footprint, and are equipped with Protection Available indicating lights and an audible alarm which can be muted. All CS3-50 units are self-contained and non-repairable. PT1 (Pig-Tail) Series SPDs deliver worry-free performance with an innovative and proven technology design. Sand-packed MOV arrays equally share current to suppress transients before they reach sensitive loads while capacitors filter out high-frequency noise and low-level transients. Suppression filter components are bolted directly to copper bus bars, lowering system impedance and clamping voltage and increasing reliability. Measuring only 7” W x 7” H x 5” D, units install in tight spaces. The NEMA 4X fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) housing features a nonremoveable cover for protection against tampering. LEDs for all phases illuminate to clearly indicate protection is active. For ease of installation, all PT1 units are prewired with 24” stranded # 10 AWG pigtail conductors. All PT1 units come standard with one set of Form “C” dry relay contacts for connection to a user-provided remote alarm and monitoring circuit. PT2
PT2 (Pig-Tail) Series Surge Protective Devices are housed in a compact, hermetically sealed plastic housing that ensures weatherproof protection for outdoor and indoor installations. Color-coded wiring conforms to US and International standards and convenient pigtail design makes installation flexible and easy. Thermal disconnects and fusing for each MOV plus a sand-filled enclosure permit benign end-of-life mode during sustained line overvoltage conditions, thus eliminating smoke and fire damage to adjacent equipment.
When a transient surge exceeds the normal system voltage, the PT2 device responds within nanoseconds and changes states from a high-impedance open circuit to a low-impedance shunt (short circuit). Connected in parallel with the facility's loads, the PT2 device diverts damaging current away from sensitive loads while simultaneously reducing (clamping) the high transient voltage to harmless levels. Upon the end of the transient event, the PT2 device automatically returns to its normal operating condition without service interruption. Terminal Board Series
TB1 (Terminal Board) Series are series connected SPDs, engineered for hard-wired installation within or adjacent to electrical loads. TB1 models employ metal oxide varistors (MOVs) in parallel arrays placed at the input and output terminals to protect critical loads from high-energy transient damage. Utilize UL-recognized inductors and X and Y capacitors to filter error-producing high-frequency noise. TB1 model MOV arrays, capacitors and inductors are encapsulated in sand, the arc-quenching compound typically used in fuses. Available with a 24A maximum continuous operating current and 50 kA surge amp capacity rating. UL 1449 3rd Edition Protection and are UL 1283 as electromagnetic filter. 5-Year Warranty.

DIN1 PLUS (DIN Rail) Series Surge Protective Devices deliver reliable performance with an innovative and proven technology design. Installed/connected in either series (in-line) or parallel with the line and the equipment to be protected. The DIN1 PLUS unit contains no line/load sensitive components and therefore can be connected in any orientation. Units respond reliably and repeatedly in less than 1 nanosecond. The fail-safe design incorporates thermal fuse links and TMOVs, and dual Component-Level Fusing (CLF). All models include an LED to visually indicate that protection is active. Units are self-contained in rugged plastic enclosures and employ twenty millimeter (20mm) MOVs as their key suppression elements. DIN2R-40
DIN2R-40 (DIN Rail) Series SPDs are single pole, parallel-connected, MOV technology protectors suitable for use in AC electrical power systems for protection against surge and transient activity. Each protector provides 40 kA surge amp capacity in a maintenance free, low profile, IP20 enclosure, DIN Rail mountable module. Series feature a replaceable plug-in surge protection module and fixed base for easy and fast maintenance. If the unit is subjected to a prolonged over-voltage condition, an internal thermal element with activate, disconnecting the DIN2R-40 from the line. When the unit is no longer providing protection the window on the front of the unit becomes red and a replacement module will be required. DIN3 (DIN Rail) Series Surge Protective Devices are heavy duty, single pole, parallel and / or “in-line” connected, MOV technology (Gas Tube for N-G protector) for use in AC electrical power systems for protection against surge and transient activity. DIN3 protectors provide 70, 100 or 165 kA surge amp capacity in a maintenance free, low profile, DIN Rail mountable module. All units except the Neutral to Ground protector can also be connected “in-line” and provide for 50A maximum continuous operating current protection.
